Oakview 2023 Level Up Camp

Youth entering 6th grade at Oakview Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year are invited to join the NOCC for a 4-day camp at Oakview Middle School. Camp will run Monday, June 12th through Thursday, June 15th from 9:00am-1:00pm. Your camper will play games, create art,  and participate in group activities while becoming better prepared for their middle and high school years. Topics covered include resiliency, goal setting, communication skills, dealing with stress, drug and alcohol refusal skills, and more. This is also an excellent opportunity for your child to become familiar with their new school, practice opening lockers, and meeting new friends that will be a part of their middle school experience. Campers will have so much fun they won't even realize they are learning skills that will strengthen their future!

To promote full participation, a $25 deposit will be collected per camper. Once your camper attends all four days of the camp you may choose to have your $25 reimbursed, or donate the funds back to the NOCC.  If this deposit creates a barrier to your camper's participation, please reach out to us at nocc@noccmi.org for assistance. 

Students will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch Monday - Wednesday. Lunch will be provided on Thursday. We also recommend bringing a towel and sunscreen for outdoor activities. All other materials are provided.

By signing this form, I, as parent/guardian, permit the North Oakland Community Coalition and ONTV to use video and pictures of my child as a program participant in promotional materials, videos, website, and any ONTV broadcasts. I understand my child’s name will not be published.

I, as parent/guardian, hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at NOCC Level Up Camp. My child is fit for the program(s) in which I have enrolled him/her.  I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM RELEASING NOCC, LAKE ORION COMMUNITY SCHOOLS, ONTV, AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, MEMBERS, SPONSORS, PROMOTERS, AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY “RELEASES”) FROM LIABILITY. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. I UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS RELEASE MEANS AND WHAT I AM AGREEING TO BY SIGNING.  I understand that no insurance coverage for participants in these activities is provided by the NOCC. By registering for this program, I understand that no refunds or proration will be given.
